Lanner Electronics, a global leader in network appliances and edge AI computing based in Taipei, Taiwan, has expanded its Edge AI Inference portfolio with the EAI-I131 — an industrial-grade 5G edge AI inference system powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano system-on-modules. Designed for video analysis and real-time inference at the network edge, the EAI-I131 delivers up to 100 TOPS of AI compute in a rugged IP40-rated fanless chassis that withstands temperatures from -40°C to 75°C.

The EAI-I131 is purpose-built for harsh industrial and outdoor deployments. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE(+) and 2KV surge protection enable direct connection to IP cameras without additional power injectors, while integrated 5G Sub6 (M.2 B-Key), Wi-Fi (M.2 E-Key), and 4G LTE options provide reliable wireless backhaul for remote or mobile installations. Industrial I/O includes two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, four digital inputs, four digital outputs, and an optional CAN 2.0 bus interface via COM2 — making it ideal for vehicle-mounted, factory floor, and smart city infrastructure applications.

The EAI-I131 ships with the NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 SDK including CUDA, TensorRT, cuDNN, and DeepStream for accelerated video analytics pipelines. TrustZone secure boot and OS-level protection ensure tamper-resistant operation in security-sensitive deployments. The VESA-mountable chassis includes intrusion detection and is available in multiple SKU configurations (EAI-I131 through EAI-I131D) covering Jetson Orin NX 16GB/8GB and Orin Nano 8GB/4GB modules.
