Overview
The IBASE EC3100 is a fanless edge AI computer built on NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules, offered with four configurations spanning Orin Nano 4GB through Orin NX 16GB. The top EC3100-NX-16 delivers 157 TOPS from an 8-core Cortex-A78AE CPU and a 1024-core Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores.
Its most distinctive feature is networking: the base unit carries two Gigabit Ethernet ports (one system, one out-of-band) and an optional Summit expansion card adds four more Gigabit ports with PoE, giving six total — enough to power and ingest four PoE cameras directly without an external switch. The same expansion slot can alternatively host CSI camera integration, though not simultaneously with the 4x PoE card.
Industrial integration is thorough: 4x DI and 4x DO with an isolated 5 V output on pin 1, RS232 and CAN Bus on DB9, a wide 9-36 V DC input via a lockable jack, and an operating range of -20 to 70 °C with 1 Grms vibration and 20 g shock ratings. Storage is an M.2 2280 NVMe drive (128 GB by default), and optional Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE with dual nano SIM sockets are available.
