Overview

EnGenius Technologies, a Taiwan-headquartered networking and embedded solutions provider, has launched the Orin Box Series — a family of rugged, fanless edge AI computers built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano system-on-modules. Available in three compute tiers — Orin Box 67 (Orin Nano 8GB, ~67 TOPS), Orin Box 117 (Orin NX 8GB, 117 TOPS), and Orin Box 157 (Orin NX 16GB, 157 TOPS) — the series delivers production-grade AI inference in a compact 170 × 125 × 62.5 mm aluminum chassis designed for 24/7 industrial operation in harsh environments.

The Orin Box Series stands out with rich industrial I/O: dual Gigabit Ethernet, CAN Bus, GPIO (DB25), dual RS232/485 serial ports, and a screw-lock HDMI port for secure deployment. The "W" variants include pre-installed Wi-Fi 6 via the M.2 E-Key slot, while all models feature an additional M.2 M-Key slot for secondary NVMe storage expansion. With a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 70°C and fanless passive cooling, the Orin Box is suited for machine vision, industrial automation, intelligent transportation, and smart city deployments.

Pre-loaded with NVIDIA Linux for Tegra (L4T) and JetPack 6.2 SDK — including CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, and DeepStream — the Orin Box Series is ready for immediate AI inference and computer vision workloads. EnGenius ships each unit with a 256GB NVMe SSD and provides full documentation including a quick start guide and product datasheet (V1.1, July 2026).
