Overview
NI (National Instruments, now part of Emerson) has expanded the PXI test platform with new, cost-effective hardware that makes future-proof automated test systems more accessible. The additions include the PXIe-1081 18-slot all-hybrid chassis, the PXIe-8842 (Intel Core i5, 8 GB/s) and PXIe-8862 (Intel Core i7, 16 GB/s) embedded controllers, the PXIe-5108 high-density oscilloscope, and new ±10 V 18-bit multifunction I/O modules.
PXI is an advanced modular test-and-measurement platform that combines instrumentation hardware with software-driven flexibility. Engineers can take a first measurement in seconds and transition to automation in the same system — ideal for AI/HPC silicon validation, RF front-end test and high-density production lines.
