Overview
The B&K Precision 8500B series programmable DC electronic loads improve on the previous generation while maintaining dependability at a value price, and support both SCPI and the backwards-compatible legacy protocol. Five models span 150 W to 1500 W and up to 500 V and 240 A.
A transient mode speed of up to 10 kHz and flexible CC / CV / CR / CW operating modes make the series suitable for testing DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers and photovoltaic arrays. Multi-type input terminals accept banana plugs or spade connectors, and B&K provides battery-test software plus LabVIEW drivers for automated test setups.
