The UH711a is Union Memory's PCIe Gen 4 data-centre SSD: the value tier above its enterprise (ESSD) line, aimed at internet and cloud mixed workloads where low latency and low cost per TB matter more than headline throughput.
It remains the practical choice for Gen4 servers still in service — big-data and warehouse tiers, cloud block storage and AI data staging — where dropping in Gen5 drives would not be matched by Gen4 host bandwidth.
