Overview
The Radxa C201 is a 120 × 120 mm carrier board built for the VMARC-Q9075 compute module, connecting over a 314-pin MXM 3.0 interface. The module itself carries Qualcomm's Dragonwing IQ-9075 with an eight-core Kryo Gen 6 CPU up to 2.36 GHz, an Adreno 663 GPU, 36 GB of LPDDR5, 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a Hexagon accelerator rated at up to 200 sparse INT8 TOPS. A separate four-core Arm Cortex-R52 subsystem handles real-time control workloads alongside the main application cores.
The C201 turns that module into a deployable industrial platform: dual 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, M.2 slots for NVMe storage, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and 4G/5G cellular, HDMI, DisplayPort, eDP and MIPI DSI display outputs, and two MIPI CSI camera connectors. Industrial interfaces include two RS-232 ports, RS-485 and four CAN connectors, with the board powered from 19-24 V over a DC5525 barrel jack or XT60 connector. Radxa lists Ubuntu, Yocto and ROS/ROS 2 support for the module, targeting robotics, edge AI, machine vision and industrial control, though pricing and availability have not been disclosed.
Key Benefits
200 sparse INT8 TOPS from the Dragonwing IQ-9075 Hexagon accelerator. 36 GB LPDDR5 and 128 GB UFS 3.1 on-module. Robotics-ready I/O: four CAN connectors plus RS-232, RS-485 and a 40-pin GPIO header. Dual 2.5GbE and triple M.2 expansion for storage and connectivity. Real-time control via a dedicated four-core Cortex-R52 subsystem. ROS/ROS 2 support for autonomous systems.
Applications
Autonomous mobile robots and AMRs, machine-vision inspection cells, edge AI gateways, industrial control and motion systems, multi-camera perception platforms, and robotic systems needing CAN, RS-485 and real-time co-processing.
