Overview

The Giada CB5-108 is a Mini-ITX industrial motherboard built around AMD's Ryzen Embedded 8000 series — the first AMD embedded platform to pair Zen 4 CPU cores and RDNA3 integrated graphics with an on-die XDNA neural processing unit rated up to 16 TOPS. Putting the NPU on the board means a system can run local inference — object detection, pose estimation, quality classification — without a discrete accelerator card, which reduces both the power budget and the mechanical depth of the chassis.

The CB5-108 drives four DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz. Combined with a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a capture card or frame grabber, that output density makes the board a natural fit for video wall controllers, multi-display kiosks, digital signage players and machine-vision stations where several high-resolution streams must be displayed and analysed at once.
