Overview
The Banana Pi BPI-P2 Zero is the networked sibling of the BPI-M2 Zero: the same Allwinner H3 quad-core Cortex-A7 and 512 MB DDR3, but with a 100M Ethernet port that also accepts Power-over-Ethernet, 8 GB of onboard eMMC and an onboard SDIO Wi-Fi module.
The PoE input means a single cable provides both data and power for ceiling, wall and pole-mounted nodes, while the 8 GB eMMC removes the dependency on a removable microSD card.
Key Benefits
PoE (802.3af) input for single-cable deployment. 8 GB onboard eMMC for boot reliability. 100M LAN plus SDIO Wi-Fi dual networking. CSI camera connector. 40-pin Raspberry Pi 3-compatible header.
Applications
PoE IP camera and sensor nodes, wireless access-point controllers, smart-building controllers, digital signage and remote monitoring endpoints where single-cable power and a reliable onboard eMMC are required.
