Overview
The AAEON MIX-MTLD1 is an industrial mini-ITX motherboard on Intel's Core Ultra 5 125H Meteor Lake processor, and its defining feature is out-of-band management in a mini-ITX footprint. The first Gigabit Ethernet port runs through an Intel I210-AT controller that exposes an NCSI header, into which AAEON's MOD-RMB out-of-band management module can be fitted — giving a standard industrial board the kind of remote access normally reserved for rack servers.
Everything else is configured for an industrial integration rather than a desktop build. The 28 W 14-core Core Ultra 5 125H brings Intel Arc Graphics across seven Xe-cores and an AI Boost NPU, with H-series 15 W and U-series parts available as alternatives. Memory goes to 96 GB of DDR5-5600 across two SO-DIMM slots, and storage can be an M.2 2280 NVMe drive, two SATA III devices with RAID 0/1, or both.
Display output is deliberately generous: four HDMI 2.0 ports at 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz with audio, plus an LVDS header co-laid with eDP and a separate 4-lane eDP connector supporting up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz, for up to four independent displays overall. The board also carries four COM headers, a Realtek ALC897 audio codec with a speaker header, PCIe Gen5 expansion, M.2 E-Key for Wi-Fi and M.2 B-Key with a Nano SIM slot for 4G/5G.
Key Benefits
Out-of-band management on mini-ITX. An Intel I210-AT controller with an NCSI header accepts the MOD-RMB module, so an unattended industrial board can be managed, monitored and power-cycled remotely. Four independent HDMI 2.0 outputs plus LVDS and eDP. One board covers new HDMI panels and legacy LVDS panels simultaneously. 96 GB DDR5-5600 and RAID 0/1. Real memory and storage headroom for local data retention and analysis. Four COM headers and dual Ethernet. Gigabit I210-AT plus 2.5GbE I226-V for a control network and an IT network on separate interfaces.
Applications
Unattended industrial control cabinets, remote and hard-to-reach installations, machine vision and inspection, digital signage and multi-display controllers, kiosk and vending, building automation head-ends, laboratory and test instrumentation.
