Overview
The NEXCOM APPC C21-01 series is a new generation of fanless industrial panel PCs available as the 15.6-inch APPC160 and the 21.5-inch APPC210, both Full HD with a narrow-bezel 16:9 display and a 10-point projected-capacitive multi-touch layer behind an IP65-rated front panel. The platform is built on the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor, a 12-core / 14-thread Meteor Lake-U part running at 1.3 GHz within a 15W thermal design point.
The significance of Core Ultra here is the three-engine AI arrangement: the CPU, the integrated Intel GPU and a dedicated NPU are all available for inference, so AI-edge workloads run on the panel itself rather than being sent to a separate box or the cloud. That suits vision inspection, anomaly detection and local HMI intelligence where the display is already at the point of use. NEXCOM pairs it with 8GB of DDR5-5600 memory, optionally expandable to 32GB non-ECC, and a slim modular chassis designed for control-room and machine-mounting footprints.
Connectivity is unusually dense for a panel PC: four Intel GbE LAN ports support camera and network segmentation without an external switch, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and an RS-232/485 serial port cover peripherals and legacy machinery, and an HDMI 1.4 output drives a second display. Expansion is via one Mini PCIe and two M.2 slots (Key M and Key E) for storage and wireless, and the unit accepts a 12V, 19V or 24V DC input with VESA 100 and wall-mount options.
