Overview

The MSI IPC MS-1A Series is a family of front-IP65 fanless HMI panel PCs spanning five screen sizes, from the 10.1-inch MS-1A91 through 12.1-inch MS-1A22, 15-inch MS-1A32 and 15.6-inch MS-1A71 up to the 21.5-inch MS-1A81. All five run Intel Alder Lake-N processors with a single-channel DDR5 memory architecture and use a sealed, fully flat front panel with a narrow bezel.

The shared panel design is the point of the range: because the display module, touch layer and front bezel are common across sizes, an integrator standardises on one mechanical and software platform and then picks the screen diagonal to suit each station. Touch is selectable as projected-capacitive for multi-touch gesture interfaces or 5-wire resistive for gloved and stylus operation on a factory floor.

MSI positions the series across smart manufacturing, smart healthcare and smart locker applications. The 12.1-inch and 15-inch models suit machine-side operator panels and production monitoring, the 10.1-inch unit fits compact lockers and kiosks, the 15.6-inch provides a 16:9 widescreen format, and the 21.5-inch MS-1A81 serves large-format HMI and production-monitoring walls. Connectivity covers DisplayPort and HDMI video plus Gigabit Ethernet, with WiFi added through an M.2 module, and the fanless chassis removes the main mechanical wear item for 24/7 installations.
