Overview

The Avalue HID-2146 is a 21.5-inch AI-ready medical panel PC purpose-built for next-generation healthcare computing. It pairs a 1920 x 1080 Full HD projected-capacitive multitouch display with an Intel Arrow Lake U Core Ultra processor, giving clinical applications the CPU and integrated AI acceleration needed for on-device inference alongside conventional hospital information system workloads.

What separates the HID-2146 from a standard industrial panel PC is its imaging-focused expansion. A PCIe Gen3 x4 interface optimised for AI inference and medical imaging workload sits alongside a PCIe x4 slot and an IET expansion slot, and the system supports NVIDIA T400E GPU cards for accelerated reconstruction, segmentation and rendering. A built-in high-speed, high-resolution video capture card allows ultrasound, endoscopy and other diagnostic video sources to feed the panel directly. Connectivity includes an Intel I226LM 2.5GbE LAN port, six USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port and a COM port, with optional 5KV isolation available through an IET board for isolated LAN, USB and COM links in electrically noisy clinical environments.

Hygiene and durability are handled with a white anti-microbial chassis, front IP65 and rear IP54 protection, and a low-power, quiet all-in-one design suited to extended medical lifecycles. The platform carries CE, FCC and Medical UL compliance and supports optional NFC, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, camera with array microphone, soundbar, barcode scanner and backup battery, letting integrators build customised smart healthcare solutions for surgical visualisation, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound and endoscopy suites.
