Overview
Supermicro expanded its AI-at-the-Edge portfolio in June 2026 with systems powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Intel Core Series 2 processors, alongside support for Intel Arc Pro B-series professional discrete GPUs. The range deliberately spans three physical classes: compact fanless systems for industrial cabinets, short-depth 1U rackmount servers for space-constrained racks, and a mini tower for office environments.
The design point is cost-optimised low-latency inference rather than peak throughput. Core Ultra Series 3 adds an integrated NPU, so light inference can run on the CPU package without a discrete card, while Arc Pro B-series GPUs provide a step up in visual-computing and inference throughput where the workload demands it.
Because the same portfolio runs from fanless to 1U, an integrator can standardise on one Intel platform generation and scale the chassis to the site — the pattern Supermicro positions for retail, manufacturing, physical-security, transportation and logistics deployments.
