Overview
The EdgeXpert MS-C931 64 GB is MSI's second-tier configuration of its DGX Spark desktop AI supercomputer, announced on 2 October 2026 alongside the existing 128 GB model. It delivers 1 petaFLOP of FP4 compute and 64 GB of LPDDR5x unified memory, enough to run open-source models up to 100 billion parameters entirely inside the customer's firewall.
The design point is deployment reach rather than peak: MSI frames it as 'develop big, deploy lean' — 128 GB units for headquarters development, 64 GB units for branch offices, factory floors and regulated environments where per-unit cost and data sovereignty decide the roll-out. Networking is unusually rich for the form factor, with 10GbE plus a 200GbE NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NIC for clustering multiple units, and NVIDIA Sync handles cluster setup and monitoring from one desktop app.
The chassis is 1.2 litres and 1.2 kg with whisper-quiet cooling, which is what makes it deployable on a desk or in a control room rather than a data hall. It ships with NVIDIA DGX OS and the full NVIDIA AI software stack pre-installed.
