The ZCU216 is the high-channel-count member of the Gen 3 Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC evaluation platforms, built on the XCZU49DR. Sixteen RF-ADC channels and sixteen RF-DAC channels on one device are what make it suitable for dense phased-array apertures and multi-antenna MIMO systems, where the alternative would be dozens of discrete converter parts and a much larger board. It is commonly used as the prototyping stage for radar, electronic-warfare and multi-channel test equipment.
The ordering code is EK-U1-ZCU216-V1-G. We supply the kit factory-sealed through distribution; contact us for availability and pricing.
