Overview
The AMD Versal Prime VM1802 (XCVM1802) is a mid-range device in the Versal Prime Series of adaptive SoCs. It combines FPGA programmable logic and DSP Engines with a hardened processing system based on dual-core Arm Cortex-A72 and dual-core Cortex-R5F cores, connected through a programmable network-on-chip.
The VM1802 provides PCIe Gen4 x8 with DMA (CPM4), hardened DDR4/LPDDR4 memory controllers and a 100G multirate Ethernet MAC, targeting a broad range of mid-range industrial, communications, aerospace and test-and-measurement applications that need adaptable compute with a hardware processing system.
