SB5PH27X019TOP1 is the Solidigm orderable part number for the D7-PS1010 1.92TB U.2 15 mm with Opal security. Solidigm part strings follow SB5PH27X0019 (base model: SB5 = D7-PS1010 PCIe Gen5, PH27X = U.2 15 mm dual-port class, 0019 = capacity in tens of GB) plus a four-character suffix encoding security and packaging — TOP1 here means TCG Opal SED, single pack. Non-Opal and E3.S bodies carry different suffixes.

Capacity points in this family are 1.92 TB, 3.84 TB, 7.68 TB and 15.36 TB. D7-PS1010 replaced the outgoing D7-P5510 / PS1010 predecessor in the same slots; the two are pin-compatible at U.2 but not interchangeable in firmware qualification, so a platform that has validated PS1010 should not be populated with the older drive without a re-qualification run.

Application

The D7-PS1010 is Solidigm's mainstream PCIe 5.0 standard-endurance SSD aimed at AI/ML data pipelines, database acceleration and cloud storage tiers where the Gen5 interface is used to keep GPU hosts fed. At 1.92TB and 1 DWPD, it is typically deployed as the primary NVMe tier in 1U and 2U servers, as a caching layer in front of QLC capacity drives, and in E3.S dense flash arrays. Up to 3,100K IOPS random read and 60 µs read latency are what differentiate this class from Gen4 drives in the same chassis.
