Overview

BIWIN Technology is a Shenzhen-based flash storage specialist with independent in-house hardware, software, firmware, and storage-algorithm development, spanning enterprise, embedded, industrial, and consumer segments. Its enterprise SSD portfolio brings PCIe Gen5 performance to AI training, cloud computing, core databases, and virtualization — a new vendor for QS Compute's enterprise-storage lineup.

The SP50Y and SP51Y are the portfolio's workhorses. Both are PCIe Gen5 x4 U.2 NVMe 2.0 drives built on Yangtze Memory's Xtacking 4.0 eTLC NAND with a next-generation controller, delivering up to 14,200 MB/s sequential read and 11,000 MB/s write. The SP50Y is a read-intensive 1 DWPD drive offered in 3.84, 7.68, and 15.36 TB capacities (part numbers CEAU2YAG110-3T8/-7T6/-15T3), while the SP51Y is a mixed-use 3 DWPD drive in 3.2, 6.4, and 12.8 TB capacities (CEAU2YAG110-3T2/-6T4/-12T8) with up to 1,000K random-write IOPS for write-heavy workloads.

At the top of the range, the SP509 (up to 15.36 TB), SP519 (up to 12.8 TB), and SP5002 (up to 61.44 TB) push sequential reads to 14,700 MB/s with NVMe-MI 1.2 manageability. The SS821 rounds out the lineup as a 2.5-inch SATA 6 Gbps drive (560/520 MB/s, 480 GB–7.68 TB) for legacy server refresh. All drives carry power-loss protection (firmware + hardware), end-to-end data-path protection, intelligent thermal throttling, S.M.A.R.T., health and telemetry logging, a 2.5-million-hour MTBF, and a 5-year limited warranty.

BIWIN debuted its enterprise storage push at CES 2026 and showcased the full portfolio — PCIe 4.0/5.0 NVMe, SATA, and CXL 2.0 memory expansion — at COMPUTEX 2026 and FMS 2026, positioning itself as an emerging alternative supplier for AI and hyperscale data center storage.
