Overview

The Robustel EV8100 is an industrial 4G/LTE voice gateway built to keep analog devices alive after copper PSTN/POTS lines are decommissioned. It presents one FXS port so an existing analog phone or intercom connects unchanged, then carries the call over VoIP or VoLTE through broadband or cellular backhaul. For building operators facing a PSTN switch-off, that means legacy handsets and alarm diallers keep working without a rip-and-replace retrofit.

Reliability is handled with dual SIM redundancy and failover, so a single carrier outage does not silence the line. Beyond voice the EV8100 carries RS232, RS485 and CAN interfaces plus four digital inputs/outputs for door sensors, alarm contacts and status monitoring, and it runs RobustOS Pro with RCMS cloud management for fleets of units across multiple sites.

The unit is certified for global telecom deployment — CE, UKCA, FCC, IC, PTCRB, RCM, TELEC and JATE — with tested operation on major carriers including Verizon and AT&T, and supports EN81-28 elevator emergency call compliance. That makes it the standard migration path for lift emergency phones, fire panels and nurse-call systems.
