The NEXCOM Neu-XE105-N50-12U is a slim, fanless edge computing system built around the Intel Processor N50 at a 6W TDP, with Intel UHD graphics and a single DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 16 GB. It is designed as a controller platform for lottery, amusement and self-service kiosks as well as automated gaming machines, where peripheral count and continuous-duty reliability matter more than raw CPU throughput.
Its defining feature is I/O density: twelve USB ports (four USB 3.2 plus eight USB 2.0) let a single unit drive bill validators, coin hoppers, printers, touchscreens, card readers, scanners and LED control boards without external hubs, while three RS-232/485 COM ports handle legacy serial peripherals, a 16-pin GPIO header covers discrete signalling, and a built-in 20W amplifier removes the need for a separate audio unit in cabinets that need immersive sound. Networking is a single 2.5GbE port and display output is HDMI 1.4 at up to 4K@30Hz.
Storage expansion uses an M.2 Key M 2242 slot for SATA storage and an M.2 Key E 2230 slot for a Wi-Fi module, with TPM 2.0 provided for platform security and a DC 12V input powering the unit. The fanless slim chassis is specified for 24/7 operation, making the Neu-XE105-N50-12U a compact, low-maintenance controller for interactive terminals and automated gaming machines.
