Overview
The Robustel EG5200 is the AI-capable member of Robustel's edge gateway line. Above the standard 4G gateway hardware it adds a 2.3 TOPS NPU alongside a quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, 4 GB of DDR4 and 32 GB of eMMC, which is enough to run vision or anomaly-detection models locally instead of streaming raw data to a cloud service.
Five configurable Ethernet ports let one device segment a plant network without an external switch, with three USB ports, HDMI and two software-selectable RS232/RS485/RS422 ports rounding out the interface set. Debian 11 with Docker means the same container images used elsewhere in the fleet can be deployed to the gateway, and the -40C to +75C rating covers unheated cabinets and outdoor enclosures.
