Overview
The PUSR USR-G816 is a 5G NR industrial gateway built for sites that need genuine broadband rather than telemetry-class cellular. It aggregates 5G NR in both standalone and non-standalone modes for up to 3.4 Gbps downlink on NSA, dropping back to LTE Cat 19/18 where 5G coverage is absent.
Redundancy and interface count are the practical advantages. Dual SIM with an optional eSIM lets the gateway fail over between carriers, four gigabit Ethernet ports serve a local device segment, and the shared RS485/RS232 port plus Modbus gateway support lets legacy serial equipment ride the same cellular uplink. Dual-band Wi-Fi reaches 1733 Mbps at 5.8 GHz, and optional GNSS gives a position fix for mobile or fixed-asset deployments.
