Overview
The Axiomtek NA870 is a 2U rackmount network appliance designed for high-throughput security, load-balancing and 5G core workloads.
Two LGA4189 sockets accept 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Ice Lake-SP) processors rated to 270 W on an Intel C621A chipset, with twenty DDR4-3200 R-DIMM slots supporting up to 1280 GB.
Network density scales through optional LAN modules: with a single CPU up to 34 ports, with both CPUs up to 66 ports. A latch-relay LAN bypass function is available depending on module selection. Storage covers two hot-swappable 2.5-inch SATA bays plus two M.2 Key M 2242/2280 slots, and two PCIe x16 risers allow NIC or accelerator add-in cards.
