Overview
The Axiomtek NA593 is a 1U rackmount network appliance platform built for firewall, SD-WAN, uCPE and network-security workloads. A 14th, 13th or 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processor on the Intel R680E chipset is paired with four DDR5-4400 ECC or non-ECC UDIMM slots for up to 256GB of memory.
Base networking is eight GbE RJ-45 ports plus two SFP cages with 2-pair hardware LAN bypass, so a failed appliance keeps the traffic path alive — the feature that makes a box deployable in-line. Two additional NIC module slots let the platform scale out to 10G/25G/40G via Axiomtek's AX93332/AX93331 modules, or to a single PCIe x8 card using the EIO150 riser.
Storage is two front-accessible 2.5 in SATA bays plus M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe, with M.2 Key B 3052 and PCIe Mini Card slots (both with SIM) available for 5G/LTE WAN. Onboard TPM 2.0 and an optional AST2600 BMC with IPMI 2.0 cover security and out-of-band management.
