Overview
The Realtek RTL8773J is the first Bluetooth 7-ready microcontroller family announced. It is built around a dual-core Arm arrangement — a Cortex-M55 application core with MVE at up to 200 MHz and a Cortex-M33 sensor and network core — supported by dual HiFi 1s DSPs running to 400 MHz with a hardware FFT engine.
The headline radio feature of Bluetooth 7 is High Data Throughput (HDT), which raises the data link to 7.5 Mbps. Realtek also implements a proprietary HDT+ mode claiming up to 15 Mbps. Dedicated accelerators cover ANC, Talk Clear and on-device keyword spotting, making the part a single-chip audio and voice-processing platform.
Key Benefits
Bluetooth 7 HDT support future-proofs audio and data products; dual DSPs with a hardware FFT engine handle codec and voice processing without loading the CPU; up to 16 MB of on-chip flash and 8 MB PSRAM remove external memory from compact designs; keyword spotting runs on-device for always-listening features.
Applications
Wireless headphones and earbuds, smart speakers and voice interfaces, wearables, gaming audio peripherals and Bluetooth 7 data accessories.
