Overview

The Nordic nRF54LC10A extends the nRF54L Series downward, trading some memory and peripheral count for a smaller, cheaper device. It pairs a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 application core with a 128 MHz RISC-V VPR coprocessor that handles I/O acceleration for SoftPeripherals and time-critical offload.

The defining feature is a sub-50 nA hibernation mode aimed at products that ship with a coin cell already fitted: standby drain during storage and transport is reduced to the point that shelf life, not runtime, stops being the limiting factor.

Key Benefits

Sub-50 nA hibernation extends shelf life of battery-fitted products; Cortex-M33 with TrustZone provides a hardware security root; VPR coprocessor offloads timing-critical I/O from the main core; a single radio covers Bluetooth 5.4, Thread, Zigbee and Matter.

Applications

Battery-powered wireless sensors, asset tags and trackers, smart-home and building-automation nodes, wearables and battery-operated industrial IoT endpoints.
