Overview
The Quectel QSM603FCP is a smart PCBA built on MediaTek's MT8371 AIoT chip: an octa-core Cortex-A78 + Cortex-A55 CPU with a built-in Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It runs Android or Linux and is designed for equipment that needs high computing power, edge processing and rich multimedia capability in one board — industrial and consumer alike.
Connectivity is integrated rather than bolted on: non-CA Cat 4 FDD/TDD cellular with up to 150 Mbps downlink, Wi-Fi 6 1×1 at up to 286.8 Mbps with an optional Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 variant, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional GNSS. A broad set of peripheral interfaces — Ethernet, MIPI CSI camera, HDMI plus LVDS or MIPI video, RS485, CAN, USB and I2C — means the board can drive displays, cameras and industrial fieldbus devices directly.
That interface set positions the QSM603FCP for M2M and edge computing deployments where a panel, a payment peripheral and a camera must all be driven from one embedded platform: industrial smart panels, vending machines, smart parcel lockers, automatic ticketing and self-check-in systems, digital signage, audio/video recorders and smart home devices.
