GD32H7xx GDemWin tooling; part of GigaDevice’s humanoid-robotics and industrial solutions
Overview
GigaDevice’s GD32H7 series is a family of high-performance microcontrollers built on the 600 MHz Arm Cortex-M7 core. With up to 4 MB of flash, 1 MB of SRAM and a rich peripheral set, the series is positioned to run lightweight machine-learning and AI algorithms — image classification, speech recognition and on-device voice wake-up — directly at the edge without a host processor.
The flagship GD32H75E adds an integrated EtherCAT SubDevice Controller for real-time industrial networking, together with advanced analog and motion-control peripherals such as a 4 MSPS 14-bit ADC, high-performance digital filters for external delta-sigma modulators and an encoder divide output controller. This combination targets demanding applications in robotics, high-accuracy motor control, digital power and edge AI, and GigaDevice showcases the family in humanoid-robotics, industrial and embedded-GUI solutions.
Key Benefits
AI and real-time control on one MCU: the GD32H7 blends a 600 MHz Cortex-M7 with large on-chip memory, so TinyML and voice inference co-exist with deterministic EtherCAT motion control. On-device processing keeps latency and privacy high and cloud dependency low, while -40 to 105 °C grades suit industrial environments.
Applications
Industrial motor control and servo drives, robotic motion control, on-device voice and gesture recognition, edge AI sensing nodes, digital power supplies and energy storage, and embedded GUI/HMI.
