Overview
The LattePanda Mu MXM GPU Carrier Kit from DFRobot turns the LattePanda Mu x86 compute module into a compact machine that carries discrete MXM graphics. Two versions are offered — one with an Intel Arc A380 MXM card at 6 GB GDDR6 and approximately 75 W, and one with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 MXM at 12 GB GDDR6 and roughly 165 W — priced at $299 and $999 respectively. The LattePanda Mu module itself is compatible in either Intel N100 or Core i3-N305 form and is sold separately.
Both kits drive up to six independent 4K displays through three HDMI and three DisplayPort outputs, with two HDMI feeds coming from the module's integrated GPU and the remaining HDMI plus three DisplayPort outputs from the MXM card. The 146 × 102 mm carrier board provides Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen2 and M.2 M-key and E-key slots, and ships in a complete kit with a metal enclosure, cooling fans, power adapter, thermal pad and RTC battery. DFRobot positions the Arc A380 configuration for multi-display and media work with lighter AI, and the RTX 3060 configuration for computer vision, vision-language models and image generation.
Key Benefits
Discrete GPU in a 146 × 102 mm carrier for local AI on an x86 module. Six independent 4K displays across HDMI and DisplayPort. Two performance tiers: a $299 Arc A380 kit for display and light inference, or a $999 RTX 3060 kit for vision and generative workloads. Complete kit with enclosure, cooling, power supply and accessories. Flexible power via DC jack or 8-pin ATX input.
Applications
Multi-display digital signage and video walls, edge computer-vision and VLM inference, local image generation and rendering, compact AI workstations, kiosk and control-room deployments, and evaluation of discrete-GPU acceleration on x86 compute modules.
