Overview
The Khadas Mind Maker Kit LNL packages Intel's Core Ultra Series 2 silicon into a 435 g module measuring 146 x 105 x 20 mm, with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD already installed. It is a development machine that fits in a laptop bag rather than a tower that has to live under a desk.
The point of the kit is the OpenVINO workflow. Intel's Core Ultra architecture combines CPU, GPU and NPU on one package, and the OpenVINO toolkit lets a model be quantised and scheduled across those engines. Because the same toolkit runs on Intel edge platforms, a model validated on the kit can move to deployed hardware without a rewrite.
The Mind Link interface allows the kit to be combined with other modules, including the Mind Graphics eGPU based on an RTX 4060 Ti with 16 GB for faster model optimisation, and Khadas publishes the interface so users can build custom modules around it.
