Overview
Premio's Intel Atom x7000 launch family answers a specific industrial problem: how to get modern DDR5 memory, 2.5GbE networking and cellular-ready expansion into a fanless, wide-temperature box without paying for performance the application cannot use. The RCO-1000-ASL is the ultra-compact member — an industrial NUC alternative with a 9-36 VDC input and a -40 C to +70 C operating range.
The RCO-1000-ASL Series carries Intel Atom x7433RE and x7835RE processors with up to eight cores at up to 3.6 GHz inside a 9-12 W TDP envelope, paired with DDR5 memory support up to 32 GB. I/O covers dual 2.5GbE LAN, triple display output via DisplayPort, HDMI and LVDS/eDP, a built-in CAN bus with power ignition management, and multiple M.2 slots for NVMe storage, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and 4G/5G. The wider RCO platform adds MIL-STD-810H ruggedness (50 Grms vibration, 5 G shock), OVP/OCP/RPP power protection and scalable EDGEBoost I/O expansion for storage, connectivity and edge AI acceleration, with optional out-of-band remote management.
Two sibling platforms share the same silicon and design philosophy: the SIO-300-ASL stainless steel panel PC for washdown and hygienic environments, and the CT-DAS01 3.5-inch industrial single-board computer for embedded integration. All three carry Intel 10-year lifecycle support, which matters more than headline performance for industrial controllers expected to remain in service for a decade.
