Overview
The ASUS IoT PE6000G is a rugged, fan-cooled industrial computer built around one unusually large capability: it accepts a full-height, full-length graphics card drawing up to 450 W, so a single field-deployed box can run GPU-class inference without a rack. ASUS pairs that with 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core processors on the Intel R680E chipset and up to 64 GB of DDR5 in ECC or non-ECC form.
Storage and connectivity are sized for vision pipelines — four 2.5-inch SSD bays for capture and retention, PCIe 5.0 lanes to the GPU, plus dedicated M.2 slots for NVMe, 5G NR and Wi-Fi 6 so the system can be deployed where wired backhaul does not exist.
The environmental spec is what separates it from a commercial workstation: -20 to 60 °C operation, 8-48 VDC wide-range input with built-in ignition power control and power monitoring, and a MIL-STD-810H chassis engineered for shock and vibration. That makes the PE6000G suitable for in-vehicle and roadside units, autonomous vehicles and factory cells, alongside its sibling PE4000G when a lower 200 W GPU budget is sufficient.
Key Benefits
450 W full-height GPU support in a rugged chassis brings data-centre-class inference to a field-deployable box. 8-48 VDC input with ignition control and power monitoring is purpose-built for vehicle and roadside installations. Wide -20 to 60 °C range and MIL-STD-810H construction keep it running where commercial PCs fail.
Applications
Industrial machine vision and automated optical inspection, intelligent video analytics, roadside units and ITS cabinets, autonomous and in-vehicle AI, and deep-learning inference at the edge in factories, ports and depots.
