Overview

The ArmSoM Sige6 is a credit-card-format single board computer built on the Allwinner A733-HN3 octa-core SoC — two Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.0 GHz paired with six Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz — with an Imagination BXM-4-64 MC1 GPU and hardware decode for H.265, VP9 and AVS2 up to 8Kp24.

Its distinguishing feature against the similar Orange Pi 4 Pro and Radxa Cubie A7A is storage: the Sige6 uses up to 128 GB of soldered eMMC flash rather than a pluggable eMMC or UFS module. Memory scales from 2 GB to 16 GB of LPDDR5, and an M.2 M-Key slot with PCIe 3.0 x2 lanes can take either an NVMe SSD or an AI accelerator module — a notable option for a board in this class.

Connectivity covers Gigabit Ethernet with optional PoE via a HAT, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.0 up to 4K60, MIPI DSI and MIPI CSI, plus a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible header. ArmSoM lists official Debian Linux and Android 13 support with third-party Armbian images. The 6 GB / 32 GB configuration was on pre-order at USD 119.

Key Benefits

Up to 128 GB soldered eMMC removes the pluggable-module sourcing problem of comparable SBCs. M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2 socket accepts an NVMe SSD or an AI accelerator. Up to 16 GB LPDDR5 is generous for a credit-card board. 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible header reuses existing HAT ecosystems.

Applications

Edge compute nodes and gateway boards, digital signage and media players, NAS and storage appliances, robotics and vision controllers, Raspberry Pi HAT-based industrial prototypes.
