Overview
The TDK-Lambda HWS3000G is a 3,000 W programmable AC-DC power supply aimed at industrial and harsh-environment equipment. Output is fully programmable in both constant-voltage and constant-current mode from zero up to rating, across four nominal voltages - 24 V, 48 V, 60 V and 130 V - which program to 0-28.8 V, 0-52.8 V, 0-66 V and 0-156 V respectively.
It delivers 3,000 W at high-line input (170-265 VAC) and 1,500 W at low line (85-132 VAC) with up to 93% efficiency, and runs from -20 deg C to +70 deg C ambient with a linear derate from 50 deg C. A 5 V 2 A standby rail plus remote on/off, remote sense, fan-fail and power-good signals are fitted as standard. The /HD option adds dual-sided board coating and MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration capability, and /RF reverses the airflow for enclosures that need it. Up to three units can be connected in series or ten in parallel, and the supply carries a seven-year warranty.
