Overview
The MEAN WELL RST-10000 is a 10 kW single-output programmable AC/DC power supply aimed at high-power industrial and infrastructure loads. It accepts either a 3-wire 196-305 VAC supply or a 4-wire 340-530 VAC input, which suits both 230 V delta and 400 V Y facility distribution without a step-down transformer.
Both output voltage and output current are externally programmable — voltage between 20% and 120% of rated value from a 1-6 VDC control signal, current between 20% and 100% from 1-5 VDC — making the unit suitable for battery formation, electrolysis, plating and laser drive as well as conventional bulk DC power. Constant-current limiting can be configured as continuous or as a 5-second delayed shutdown that recovers on re-power.
Active current sharing supports up to 9,000 W in a 2+1 configuration for redundancy or expansion. Built-in protections cover short circuit, overload, over voltage, over temperature and fan failure, with remote ON/OFF, remote sense up to 0.5 V of line-drop compensation, DC-OK and AC-fail signalling, and a 5-year warranty.
