Overview
The Delta GPS-1300DB is a 1300 W ATX-format power supply built for workstation and deskside systems rather than rack chassis. Its single +12 V rail delivers 108 A, which is the number that decides how many GPUs the platform can feed.
High-wattage ATX supplies are now the constraint on deskside AI and rendering machines: a pair of 350 W accelerators plus a 250 W CPU leaves very little headroom below 1100 W once drives and fans are counted, so headroom here translates directly into transient-fault immunity.
The 135 mm fan and 185 × 150 × 86 mm enclosure fit standard ATX bays, and 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency keeps the exhaust temperature — and therefore the acoustic noise — inside what a deskside enclosure can tolerate.
