Overview
The Delta DPS-850AB-4 is a 850 W CRPS (Common Redundant Power Supply) module for 1U and 2U rack servers. CRPS is the standard hot-swap form factor for redundant server power: two or more modules share the load and a failed unit can be pulled and replaced without powering the chassis down.
80 PLUS Platinum efficiency keeps the 12 V rail cool at high load, which matters in 1U chassis where the PSU airflow path also cools the drive bays. The 90–264 VAC input range covers both 230 V rack PDUs and 240 VDC data center bus architectures.
PMBus telemetry exposes input/output voltage, current, power, temperature and fan speed per module, so a BMC can report which unit is degrading before it fails rather than only alarming on a full outage.
