Overview
The Delta DPS-650AB-11 is a 650 W server power module in the 40 × 51.3 × 300 mm 1U envelope. Its single +12 V output carries 52.9 A plus a 4.0 A +5 V standby rail, so almost all of the rated power is available to the board's DC-DC stages.
This is the narrow, long profile used in 1U chassis where the PSU sits along the chassis wall rather than across it. The 80 PLUS Platinum grade keeps the conduction loss (and therefore the PSU temperature) down inside a very restricted airflow volume.
PMBus support means the platform BMC can read input power, output current, temperature and fan speed, which is what turns a power supply from a black box into a monitored, predictively serviceable FRU.
