Overview
The Delta DPS-2400AB is a 2400 W server power supply in the CRPS common-slot form factor, taking 200-240 VAC at up to 9.0 A through an IEC C19 inlet and delivering a single 12 V rail at 94% efficiency. It is designed for GPU-dense nodes and high-density racks where a single PSU has to carry several accelerators.
The 2400 W rating with a single 12 V rail is the relevant specification for accelerator work: five 450 W GPUs, or eight 290 W GPUs, or ten 230 W GPUs can be powered from one unit within its envelope. Input is restricted to 200-240 VAC, which reflects the fact that at this power level a 100-120 V branch circuit cannot deliver the current - a 2400 W unit would need 20 A at 120 V before derating.
Delta supplies these with PMBus digital control and thermal throttling with 12 V rail regulation, and units can be installed in master/slave pairs across two common-slot bars. Firmware compatibility should be checked against the platform vendor's release notes before deployment in an NVIDIA HGX-class chassis - early firmware revisions are not validated for HGX modules.
