Overview
Analog Devices provides 800 VDC hot-swap controllers that manage the dangers of sudden power changes while keeping AI racks operational. They control inrush current and protect high-voltage power delivery during startup, faults or maintenance.
As data centers move from 12 V and 48 V toward 800 V architecture for megawatt-class racks, hot-swap control becomes critical for inserting and removing server trays safely. ADI's portfolio includes 100 V hot-swap controllers with integrated digital telemetry and programmable fault thresholds, developed in collaboration with the NVIDIA MGX ecosystem.
Key Benefits
Safe 800 VDC tray insertion and removal without downtime. Integrated telemetry for real-time rack reliability validation. Enables megawatt-class 800 VDC AI racks with lower power loss
Applications
AI factory and GPU-rack power design; 800 VDC power distribution units; server-tray hot swap and field maintenance; high-voltage data center power protection.
