Overview
The VIAVI TestCenter B3 800G Appliance is a high-density Ethernet test platform purpose-built for validating the AI network fabrics behind hyperscale GPU clusters. As AI workloads drive unprecedented east-west traffic, 800G Ethernet introduces new challenges in signal integrity, FEC, latency and fabric resiliency that traditional testing misses.
The B3 makes Ultra Ethernet Consortium (UEC) 1.0 support a core part of the TestCenter offering, with Transport Layer validation available today and a rapidly expanding UEC feature set. By emulating real-world traffic and failure conditions it exposes issues long before networks go into production.
8-port appliance modules built from the ground up for high-capacity traffic generation and analysis across 100G to 800G Ethernet architectures add Autonomous Flow Tracking for massive-scale flow monitoring.
