Overview
The PEAK-System PCAN-USB FD is a CAN FD interface that connects CAN and CAN FD networks to a PC over high-speed USB 2.0, in USB-A or USB-C versions. It complies with ISO 11898-2 and supports CAN 2.0 A/B as well as CAN FD with data-field bit rates from 25 kbit/s up to 12 Mbit/s for payloads up to 64 bytes.
A 1 µs timestamp resolution and switchable ISO/non-ISO CAN FD mode make it suitable for development benches, test cells and mobile diagnostics, while 500 V of galvanic isolation decouples the PC from the bus.
