The NVIDIA Spectrum-6 Ethernet Switch is NVIDIA's next-generation AI network switch, delivering 102.4 Tb/s of total switching capacity with 200G SerDes and co-packaged silicon photonics. It is the foundation of Spectrum-X Ethernet Photonics, NVIDIA's co-packaged optical switch architecture.
Spectrum-X Ethernet Photonics delivers 10× the reliability, 5× the uptime, and 5× the power efficiency of traditional pluggable optics, addressing the scale and density requirements of million-GPU AI environments.
As one of the six new chips in the Vera Rubin platform, Spectrum-6 works alongside ConnectX-9 SuperNICs and BlueField-4 DPUs to build the AI-optimized fabrics that connect Rubin GPUs within and across data centers — including Spectrum-XGS for linking distributed sites hundreds of kilometers apart.
