Overview
The Intel E810-CAM1 is the controller silicon used in the 100GbE and 25GbE members of the E810 adapter family. It is supplied for OEMs building their own adapters, OCP 3.0 mezzanine cards and purpose-built network appliances.
The programmable packet-processing pipeline is the differentiator: DDP/P4 profiles can be loaded to accelerate specific protocols (VXLAN, GTP, NVMe-oF) in hardware without a new silicon revision — the reason E810 controllers appear in telco UPF and smart-NIC designs.
Key Benefits
Flexible port split: 4 × 25G to 1 × 100G. Programmable pipeline for protocol offload. RoCEv2 + PTP on-chip. Same driver stack as packaged E810 adapters.
Applications
Custom adapter and OCP 3.0 card design, telco UPF and 5G user-plane appliances, smart-NIC and DPU-adjacent designs, and protocol-acceleration line cards.
