Overview
The Fluke ii910 Precision Acoustic Imager uses an array of microphones and a processing algorithm to convert ultrasound into a visual overlay called a SoundMap, letting operators see and locate sound sources in real time. It detects partial discharge (PD) and corona from up to 120 metres away, so high-voltage equipment can be inspected from a safe distance.
On-device modes quantify findings: LeakQ estimates compressed-air or vacuum leak size and cost, MecQ flags mechanical degradation, and PDQ classifies partial discharge. The ii910 extends the frequency band to 100 kHz and doubles the detection range of the ii900.
