Overview

The Fluke 5080A is a high-compliance multi-product calibrator built specifically to calibrate analog meters that draw more burden current than a standard calibrator can supply.

It provides DC and AC voltage to 1020 V, AC/DC current to 20.5 A, discrete resistance values and active power, with maximum burdens of up to 800 mA on voltage and 50 V on current. Optional MegOhm, continuity and oscilloscope functions extend its workload to insulation testers and scope calibration.

Key Benefits

Drives analog meters with 800 mA voltage burden. Optional insulation (MegOhm) and scope calibration. Fluke-quality protection circuitry for high-compliance outputs

Applications

Calibration labs with a mixed analog/digital workload; panel-meter and moving-coil instrument calibration; insulation-tester calibration with the MegOhm option; field service and depot-level repair.
