Overview
The EOLO-13T-5H-XMX is the 1x1.6TbE member of Eoptolink's 1.6T OSFP family: eight host lanes and eight optical lanes at 212.5 Gb/s each (106 GBd with PAM4) aggregated into one MPO-16 connector over 500 m of single-mode fibre.
Using a single MPO-16 keeps a 1.6T port to one fibre ribbon instead of two, which halves connector count on a 1.6T spine and simplifies patch-panel design. Where the link has to fan out to two 800G NICs instead, the -XDX variant uses two MPO-12 connectors for 2x800GbE breakout.
