Overview
The Cornelis Networks CN6000 is the industry's first 800G multi-protocol SuperNIC: a single adapter that runs Omni-Path, RoCEv2 and Ultra Ethernet concurrently over a PCIe 6.0 host interface. Multi-protocol support means one card can serve an Omni-Path fabric, an existing Ethernet fabric, and the emerging Ultra Ethernet ecosystem without a separate SKU for each.
For AI factories scaling toward gigawatt-scale deployments, deterministic network behaviour is what keeps expensive GPUs utilized. CN6000 targets that with an industry-leading 1.6 billion messages per second, sub-microsecond latency, and advanced congestion management paired with adaptive routing.
Security and operational fit are addressed at the silicon level with a Post-Quantum Cryptography-enabled Root of Trust, plus fully Verbs-compatible operation, standards-based telemetry and firmware management, and backward compatibility with deployed CN5000 Omni-Path infrastructure.
Key Benefits
One card, three protocols: Omni-Path, RoCEv2 and Ultra Ethernet concurrently, cutting SKU sprawl and easing migration. Deterministic performance: 1.6 billion messages/sec and sub-1 µs latency maximize GPU utilization. No lock-in and future-ready: Ethernet ecosystem interoperability, full CN5000 backward compatibility, and PQC-protected boot.
Applications
Gigawatt-scale AI factory fabrics · Large-scale AI training and real-time inference · Exascale and leadership-class HPC · Mixed Omni-Path / Ethernet data center interconnects
