Overview
The Innodisk PCIe Gen5 SSD series is the company's first PCIe Gen 5 data center SSD line, built on a PCIe Gen5 x4 interface with the NVMe 2.0 protocol to remove the speed and latency limits of earlier storage interfaces. It targets AI model training, big data analytics and other data-intensive workloads.
The series scales to 128 TB of high-density NAND with sequential read speeds up to 14 GB/s and write speeds up to 10 GB/s, and is offered in U.2 plus EDSFF E1.S, E3.S and the newer E3.L form factors. It is designed to the OCP Data Center NVMe SSD specification v2.0 for interoperability with hyperscale and enterprise deployments.
For fleet operations the series adds NVMe-MI management, multi-namespace support and out-of-band batch management, along with Secure Boot firmware authentication. It is built for seamless integration with VMware and other virtualised environments, giving AI infrastructure teams a high-capacity, standards-compliant NVMe tier.
